The “Amici della Musica” group of Torricella del Pizzo, together with AMMI (the Italian Mechanical Music Association), presents the museum dedicated to the world of Mechanical Music: an immense cultural movement that for over five hundred years crossed every social class, and that we can rediscover today as evidence of a culture and a civilisation now sadly forgotten.

Music is a means of expressing thoughts, feelings, emotions and aspirations: to travel through this world is to bring back into play emotional factors that are fundamental to the very existence of music. Its influence on human beings has always been a subject of study and interpretation, in every historical period.
